Challenge 2000:

That’s the resounding voice I hear in my spirit, from the moment I awake in the morning until I pillow my head for the night. It is a "Call To Confrontation" for this new millennium. As one century comes to a close and another begins, we must confront the enemy and defeat him on every front.

It is imperative we get more people involved. No one person can accomplish the task of world missions. But an army of faithful warriors can. For too long, I have tried to meet this challenge alone. My fear of offending others has kept me from aggressively pursuing the necessary support needed. That day has come to an end.

Like Gideon, I have threshed wheat in secret with only a few knowing where I was and what I was doing. I know this format must change. I need many more people involved, if we are to truly make a difference. God is speaking to me about establishing Bible Schools on every continent of the world, as well as building Ministry Training Centers to assist national workers and help them fulfill their heart’s desire for God.

In response to this voice, I am forming a group of faithful warriors, Gideon’s 300, to respond to the vision. Gideon’s 300 will be made up of people of all ages who are willing to plant only $30.00 each month into world missions. These people will know that by themselves they cannot do much, but with others joining them, nothing they decide to do can be stopped by the enemy. Remembering that a challenge is simply a "summons to action."
